Glenn joined Esporta as CEO in 2007. He is a dynamic, proven and acknowledged leader in running multi-location service organisations. Glenn has a track record of leadership, growth, change and value creation in multi £100m, multi-location and multi-national business environments.
Before joining Esporta, Glenn served as CEO of the EMEA operations of global customer services provider ClientLogic (c.$220m revenues and c.6,000 employees) where he led a three-year performance transformation. This culminated in its 2007 merger with larger competitor Sitel Inc, having turned the business from loss-making to generating an EBITDA of $30m.
Prior to this he was CEO of Liberata plc, the former Deloitte outsourcing business, which was significantly expanded and developed over four years. He has also been an executive board member of Senior plc (FTSE 250) and head of corporate finance for Diageo. He was previously a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers and has significant international experience, having spent five years resident in the USA.
Glenn is a qualified Chartered Accountant with an MBA from Warwick University and a first class honours degree.
Steve joined Esporta in 2007 as HR Director and was subsequently appointed as COO in August 2007. He has an extensive background in operations, sales and associated support functions.
Steve is an experienced executive with a business development and HR background. He was most recently Support Services Director for the EMEA division of Sitel Inc, the business process outsourcing company. For a six month period, Steve assumed responsibility as interim COO EMEA and introduced new operational objectives, working practices and focused the organisation on enhancing customer satisfaction.
Prior to this he was Group HR Director for Liberata UK Limited, overseeing HR strategy and service delivery to over 4,000 employees. He was also Managing Director of Liberata's General Insurance Services operations and spearheaded a culture change programme to integrate the newly acquired business into Liberata.
Steve is a member of The Chartered Institute of Management and holds an MBA.
Jog joined Esporta as CFO in 2007; he has a strong experience in multi-site leisure and retail industries, having served as director and controller in previous appointments.
Jog was previously Associate Finance Director at Phones 4 U Ltd, where he was responsible for all matters relating to finance, procurement and planning. During Jog's tenure at the company, the business went from loss-making to substantial profit and was sold for £1.1bn.
Jog is a qualified chartered accountant with a first class honours degree.
David joined Esporta as Chairman in June 2007. He co-founded the LA Fitness chain of health and fitness clubs and has been at the centre of the industry since its birth.
At LA Fitness, David was the Property and Corporate Development Director, charged with responsibility for all new projects as well as site selection, acquisition and development. David trained as a surveyor and founded his first fitness club, City Squash, in 1979. He also set up Market Sports, a 5-a-side football club business, as well as Club Zebra, an interactive health and fitness TV channel.
Allan joined Esporta as Deputy Chairman in June 2007. He was the founder of Holmes Place and is known throughout the industry for building the company into an international group with leisure clubs throughout Europe and the Middle East. Allan trained as an accountant and holds an MBA from Columbia University.
