Take the M3 southbound out of London Join the M27 westbound towards Bournemouth. After Junction 1 of the M27, it will join the A31 towards Bournemouth/Dorchester. Stay on the A31 for another 10-15 minutes, passing the sign on the left for the Owl Sanctuary, You will pass a Texaco garage on the left and the road splits into 3 lanes.

Take either the middle lane or the right hand lane towards Dorchester (A31) Stay on the A31 and continue over several roundabouts, heading towards Dorchester/Poole (A349). Go over the first roundabout you come to, called the Woolsbridge roundabout. Pass a Little Chef on the right hand side and continue heading towards Dorchester and Poole (A349) Continue over the next 2 roundabouts, you will pass a Gulf Petrol Station on the right.

This is on your approach to the next roundabout. Take the right exit towards Poole/Dorchester (A3) this will take you on to the dual carriageway. Go over the next roundabout so you are heading towards Dorchester/Poole (A349). This will reduce down to single carriageway. At the next roundabout take the middle lane towards Dorchester/Poole (A349). At the Merley Roundabout, take the left exit heading towards Poole (A349) and follow the ferry signs.

At the next roundabout take the right exit towards Poole (A349) Carry straight over a set of traffic lights, Continue over Dunyeats Roundabout. When you arrive at Darbys Corner Roundabout, take the exit towards Poole (A349). Follow the ferry markings on the road.

Travel through the first set of traffic lights. On approach to the next set of traffic lights, you will need to be in the outside lane signed for the ferry. Take the right hand filter lane at these traffic lights. This will take you into Cabot Lane. The Dorset Racquets and Health Club is approximately 250 yards down on the right hand side.
